Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
What are the possible interest rates between 4.500 to 5.500?

What are the range references for HPACB, HPNINS, RATE and BAL?

As Andrew requests, a little more information would be helpful to sort out your formular issue. Specifically, what data is in the named ranges you are using? (ie 'HPNINS' may contain numbers such as.....). Possiibly to post a short version of what you are doing would be very helpful and the expected outcome you might want to see from the data presented.

=SUMPRODUCT((HPACB=1)*(HPNINS<24)*(RATE={4.50055})*BAL)

Looking into above formula let me explain the
HPACB IS PRODUCT NUMBER,HPNINS IS NUMBER OF PRODUCT AND RATE IS RATE and BAL is balance.Actually I defined the column for product as HPACB and so on...As per above formula I am looking for product which is less than 24 and rate between 4.500 and 5.500 which give me the outstandin balance. Please if anyone could help in giving rate range between 4.500 and 5.500 in above formula.Regards,

Sorry

I still am confused...it looks to me like you want to do some lookups functions ie Vlookup or(Index --Match)in this process, rather than just multiplying. Care to show a short example in spreadsheet format as noted in my last reply. This would surely clear up any doubt what your question is.....

Anybody else care to decipher the question...
