Quick Poll Sheet

Dear all

We will moderate a focus group with ~100 people, each sitting on tables of ~10. Each table has access to a shared Excel sheet. We will ask the tables a couple of questions to respond to (i.e. items to rate, like a quick poll). The table speaker's job is to collect the ratings and enter them into the spreadsheet. We want to display the results as quickly and smoothly as possible.

What would you recommend to make this as effective as possible? I'm worried that the shared sheet functionality will have people overwriting each other's cells, and don't know how to address that. Multiple sheets? Form function?

Any suggestions - also ideas outside of Excel - are welcome!
Best regards, LY

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
access may be easier. if you want to do it in excel, just have each person/group put their answers in a separate file. just copy and paste afterwards. i would have a sheet already set up with mock data for graphs, pivot tables, etc, then collect the data, delete the mock, and copy/paste into it.
