Quick Q: Drag to fill without the mouse

I'd like to know if there is a way to drag and fill a column without using the mouse. This gets to be a real pain when I need to fill thousands of rows with a formula from above and there are no adjacent cells to make the double click feature automatic.

Select the cell with the formula and the cells below that you'd like to fill and press CTRL+D
