Hi Guys,

If i have typed a name before in Row A1 (say Mark) and i try to input the name Mark again in Cell A2, It automatically used to pull through Mark and i could i either keep press enter or overtype unless the name was other than Mark....

For some reason this is not working. How can i have the otion to have this but also not have this (Just for reference)

Thank You

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

You might have disabled AutoComplete.

In Excel 2007+ goto Office/File-->Options-->Advanced-->Editing Options-->Enable AutoComplete. In earlier versions it'll be under Tools-->Options.
