hi team

looking to improvise on the formula mentioned below:

=IFERROR(IF(CJ16<100%,"N",IF(CK16<84.999%,"N",IF(CL16<84.999%,"N","Y"))),"")

this lets me know if a candidate has passed or not, what i want is that if there is no test data then the cell with this formula should be blank.

any ideas

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
How about?

=IF(COUNTA(CJ16:CL16),IFERROR(IF(CJ16<100%,"N",IF(CK16<84.999%,"N",IF(CL16<84.999%,"N","Y"))),""),"")

Hi Andrew

thanks for the quick reply, however the blank cells where test scores havent been updated still show as N, this brings down my certification percentage...

any other ideas

Maybe:

=IF(COUNT(CJ16:CL16)=3,IFERROR(IF(CJ16<100%,"N",IF(CK16<84.999%,"N",IF(CL16<84.999%,"N","Y"))),""),"")
