# Quick Transfer Data Entry

#### janjan_376

##### Board Regular
Scenario:

I would like to make a box where I can enter integer. Then the last digit on the right will be cut and put into a designated cell:

example:

A1:A1000 contains store # from store 1 to 1000 respectively.

If 241 is entered on the box, the 1 will automatically go to cell B24. Then clear data on the box for another entry.

### Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},\$Z\$1:\$Z\$99,\$Y\$1:\$Y\$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

#### Smitty

##### Legend
Will the last digit always go to B24? Or is there some relation to what's entered and the list in A?
