Hi there (my first ever post!)

Pretty basic, but annoying me! How do I activate a particular worksheet? I have made a VBA procedure that uses only one worksheet, so i need to activate it at the start of the routine. Any help will be much appriciated. Thanks

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
If you really need to activate:

worksheets("name").activate

Otherwise

With Worksheets("name")
....code....
End With

is a better option.

Welcome.

You use worksheet("worksheetname").activate

where worksheetname is the name on the worksheet tab eg. Sheet1

Hi,
if you have only one worksheet then

Sheets(1).Activate

or

Sheets("YourSheetName").Activate

do you really need to activate the sheet when you have only one sheet?
