Radio Button Default based on Input in Sharepoint

I have a SharePoint file where a user will select a radio on one spreadsheet (I will call this one "A"). I want that value to carry through to another spreadsheet ("B"), but the user will be able to override the initial value from spreadsheet "A" without changing the value on "A". How would I accomplish that? I had a background calculation sheet referring to the cell that contains the value of the radio button from "A", but as soon as another value is selected on "B", that is overwritten.
