I have a page with 652 lines on it which I have to randomly audit. In column “B” are the 3 different regions, and in column “G” are the client names. I need to audit 25% of each region, inclusive of ALL the duplicates.

Total count:

652 lines with 51 duplicates; 27 in region A, 6 in region B, 18 in region C.

Region A: 352 @ 25% = 88 – 27 duplicates = 61

Region B: 83 @ 25% = 21 – 6 duplicates = 15

Region C: 217 @ 25% = 54 – 18 duplicates = 14

How do I create a macros that when run, will copy all of the duplicate lines put them in a separate sheet, and then copy and place in this sheet the additional randomized lines (meeting the grouping criteria, to get to 25% of total for each group).

I'm spending a fair amount of time, just formating, sorting, counting, and manually (randomly) picking lines... I figure that there must be a way to automate.

Does this make sense, and is it possible?

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
