I want to randomly select a cell from a range of cells. SO what I'd like to do is have the cell address be: A(a number from 1 to 10 radnomly selected). I have tried inserting the random number generator after the A no to no avail. Is it possible to do what I want?

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

Welcome to the board...

Try

=INDEX(A:A,RANDBETWEEN(1,10))

Randbetween requires the analysis toolpack from Tools - Addins.

Hope this helps..
