Is there an easy formula for A1, A2, and A3 picking from random, cells C1, C2, C3...,C1000 to display in it's cell?

So

A1=C1, C2, C3,...,C1000 at random
A2=C1, C2, C3,...,C1000 at random
A3=C1, C2, C3,...,C1000 at random

C1=Bob
C2=Tim
....
C1000=John

One way...

=INDEX(C$1:C$1000,RANDBETWEEN(1,1000))

Copy down as needed.

Note that the RANDBETWEEN function requires the Analysis ToolPak add-in be installed if you're using a version of Excel prior to Excel 2007. If you
enter the formula and get a #NAME? error look in Excel help for the RANDBETWEEN function. It'll tell you how to fix the problem.
