I am having problems doing a lookup of a range of dates.
I want to put a 1 or 0 if a date required can be found in a range of dates I have already.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
I am attempting to create a kind of look up across various ranges of dtaes to come back with either a 1 or 0 as the answer.

I have changed the dtaes into numbers but still this will not seem to work ?[/b]

Try something like this below.

=IF(C2=A1:A3,1,0)

Cell C2 is the date you are looking up in my formula
and
column A1:A3 is the range of cells containing the dates

Hope this helps
