Hello Friends,
My Question is Fairly simple.
I want to specify certain ranges in cell such as
5-10
10-15
15-20
But Excel is taking as date 5-Oct and such..
I have tried my best to change cell properties to general but then it is showing me random number 40281
P.S. I have tested using random range 31-13, 13-31 which excel is treating as range.
Is it bug in Excel?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hello & Welcome to the Board,

No it is not a bug in Excel, Excel see those as dates.

If you want to enter 5-10 as text try entering with an apostrophe in front '5-10
