Range values with a variable

I've got a situation where I want to define the value of several cells, but the row # of the cell is know by a variable (i for example) rather than a static cell, like E38

My current code is:

Range ("A38, H38, P38, W 38, AD38") = Now()

But now instead of always writing to the same row, the row # will be constantly changing and it won't always be row 38. I'm storing the row # to be written in a cell (E1 for example)

I know I can do something like:

i = Range("E1").Value
Range("A" & i) = Now()

But, how do I say Range ("A38, H38, P38, W 38, AD38") = Now() in one line, rather than needing 5 lines ??

Range("A" & i, "H" & i) = Now () does not work

Thanks
