I've just finished a rather fancy programme intergrating Access and Excel via a complex series of Modules and to add the cherry to the top of the cake i'd like to be able to trigger the computers on-board sound devise (the one used for alert messages etc.. not the sound card / speakers etc..) to play a little melody...

any suggestions

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
the computers dont have sound cards to play wav files so, it would have to be through the same speaker that makes the alert sound...

not very good at all.!

that's the sound i want to make.... but how do i trigger it in excel (and access if poss)
