Re-arrange Dates

I pulled down a query from an AS/400 Database system into Excel format. Somehow, the dates got all mixed up.

For instance:
If the date is supposed to be 10/31/05
It returned the date 31/10/05

I have had to re-arrange stuff like this before but have since forgotten the formula to do such. Can someone help me out a bit?

Nevermind, I just figured it out:

=mid(A1,4,3)&left(A1,3)&right(A1,2)
