RE: cutting sheets and saving as
Part of my code involves deleting sheets from a workbook:
Sheets("gh SHEET").Delete
Sheets("jf SHEET").Delete
When it executes, the macro will stop for excel to prompt the user, saying "data may exist in the sheets selected for deletion. To permanently delete the data, press delete." Is there a way to either prevent this message from coming up to automically select the delete option?
A similar question when saving a file. If you "save as" on top of another file, Excel will break in with a prompt asking are you sure, etc. Can you override this prompt so the user will not have to click yes?
ChDir "R:\MIN_SLB\MPLS_OC_Crew\Choices"
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:= _
"R:\MIN_SB\MLSrew\Choices\ENGR Preferences.xls", FileFormat:= _
xlNormal
Sheets("GL SHEET").Delete
Sheets("SU SHEET").Delete
