Re: spliting text

I have a full name in one cell that I want to split into two cells (one cell for last name and one for first name). Is this possible?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Re: spliting text

Or you could use the Data - Text to Columns - Delimited
then choose how the data is separated (comma or space)
