Reactivating copy/paste functions

Good afternoon. I have one spreadsheet on which I used code to disable the copy/paste functions. Everything worked fine - no one could cut or paste into the sheet, including me. Now I need to remove the code and reactivate the copy/paste function. I have deleted the macro and the module. I have checked the sheet for remaining code ("view code") and could not find any. I did a save in Visual Basic, saved again in Excel, and exited the program. However, when I open up the worksheet, the "cut" and "paste" options under "edit" are still grayed-out. How do I restore the function?

I apologize for the dumb question, but I'm lost (and getting pretty desperate!). Thanks for your assistance.

Sheila

Thanks, Jon. That worked perfectly. Thank you, VoG, as well. I did not expect such a super quick response!!!
