I have several excel files that I want to be able to read from to create drop down lists for a userform.

Drop Down 1: Type (Each Type is a folder that holds excel files for each size)
Drop down 2: Size (Options contingent on which Type was chosen)
Drop Down 3: Length (Options contingent on which Size was chosen)
Drop Down 4: Material (Options contingent on which Length was chosen)
Drop Down 5: Coating (Options contingent on which Material was chosen)

My thoughts are to have the macro populate Type dropdown at initilization time by reading parent folder and getting all subfolder names. The depending on which size user picks from Type dropdown, I want my macro to read the excel file and populate a multidimensional array to use for populating the other dropdowns, as opposed to just reading from the excel file each time a size or length is chosen.

Can anyone help me on best way to read the excel file into the array?
