Good morning everyone,

We have a workbook that is shared on the OneDrive with 3 users. The data syncs exactly how we'd like it to, but for some reason whenever I open it on my device it opens with this message

This is an issue because I have a macro that pastes information to this document and then tries to save it. The workbook can't save unless we select "Edit Workbook." Does anybody know how to either prevent the workbook from opening like this, or to write in the macro to select edit workbook so the macro can still save the workbook?

I've checked the files properties and read only is not selected
I've tried making the file location a trusted source
I've tried unselecting all the boxes under protected view
None of these have worked and the document still opens in read only every time

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
As another solution to this:

If I close the workbook, select save, save again, and then yes....that saves the workbook without having to select edit workbook. Is it possible to write a script for this?
