Is there an easy way to make a excel spreadsheet read only except for about 10 individule cells?

Do I have to click on all the other cells and make them read only or can I just go to those 10 and make them not read only?

Thanks

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Select your 10 cells, and turn protection off, through the Format, Cells, Protection menu (untick the "locked" box).

Then set protection for rest of your file through Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet or Protect Workbook, which will give you an option to choose a password, and will also allow you to give users certain specified rights to do certain things.
