Hi

I have a column full of names, which have been populated using a lookup. (Return 1).

When I try to summarise excel is reading the look up formula rather than what has been returned. Is there a way around this without Paste Valuing the list first as I need the lookup to remain as the list may change?

Thanks
J

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hi

I'm using sumproduct so I can obtain Name, Month & Values. The sumproduct formula works but gets stuck when trying to link with the Name, if I were to range value the names then this would not be an issue, but I'm trying to avoid that.
Thanks
