I use the following a lot to get a lit of files in a folder (in this case D:\temp)

Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
mypath = "D:\temp\"
r = 1
myfile = Dir(mypath & "*.*")
Do While myfile <> ""
Cells(r, 1) = myfile
r = r + 1
myfile = Dir
Loop
End Sub

I am developing a tool to sequentially read a set of files from the internet, but if I replace
Code:
mypath = "D:\temp\"

with

Code:
mypath ="http://www.mywebsite/Combustion systems/"

I get runtime error 52 "Bad file name or number "

Anyone know how to apply the DIR finction (or equivalent) to web pages?

Thanks

only a suggestion -not tested
try instead of
myfile = Dir(mypath & "*.*")
use
myfile = mypath & "*.*")
