Hi! I'm trying to reconcile two datasets from different sources that have recorded people names slightly differently. For example, one spells it Kolašinac and the other Kolasinac. It's mostly that one is using special characters/accents and the other isn't. Therefore the vlookups and index/match formulas aren't working. I have tried getting around it in some places using "*"&cellref&"*" in the lookup, which has solved some issues but not all. Any suggestions?

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Have you tried doing a fuzzy merge in Power Query/Get and Transform? This is found on the Data Tab of the Ribbon.

Absolutely fabulous thank you. Not a functionality I'd heard of before but this is perfect.
