If the computer hangs with a spreadsheet open and you have to power it off/on...Is there any way to recover the data that was not saved (auto-recover wasn't turned on!)

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Hi not sure what auto recover is, assume you mean auto save, as an add in?

If you have gone down this line, i guess NO its lost.

I suggest back up and back up and .............................................. BAck up and SAVE as much a possible Excel is deradful in this side of things

Need tolook why its hanging and take the save and bck up advice - i know i do

Jack

There are many Back up codes on thsi board some i wrote and posted that can be used, auto save is VERY second rate, save and back up are not the same issue

BACK UP!
