hi
after numerous connections to Power query i have my worksheet to be used for billing
i was just informed it is in error
my sheet has 20 columns i will only list the ones important for my question
column A name of client
column B service date
column C service
column D service billing date same as column B

i was told that if my current service date says 10/1/2021 my billing date needs to say 11/1/2020
how can i do that either PQ or formula or code
it will always be that billing service date is the next month of service date
all billing is always first of month

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Billing Date = EDATE(Service date,1)
or
Billing Date = EOMONTH(Service date,0)+1 ' In case service date is not always first of month
