I have a cell in a excel sheet which displays in the formula bar
=Sum (ref#) but is actually summing and giving the result in the cell

What can be result of this

K2 = sum(ref#) which in reality should be sum(k4:K16)

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
It may happen when you have Automatic calucaltion switch off and you have deleted some columns.
