In Column A is a list of numbers 1-31
There are 31 sheet tabs actually named with the numbers 1 through 31

In Column D I have a formula: ='1'!D25 which works just fine to get the contents of cell D25 from Sheet 1.

What I would like to be able to do is to reference the value in Column A so I can simply copy the formula down instead of having to manually enter all of the formulas. 'something like"

=" ' "&A1'! & $D25 which of course does not work. Was wondering about using INDIRECT, but don't know if/how it would work.

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Was wondering about using INDIRECT, but don't know if/how it would work.
Like this
Excel Formula:
=INDIRECT("'"&A1&"'!D25")
if you need D25 to be a relative reference then it will need some changes depending on the pattern required for the reference changes.
