I want to be able to reference a formula so that when it is drug down the page it keeps the last value. So if for example the formula simply keeps a running total I want the other cell to reference the last total in the running total cell.

So if A1 is the Value

and c1:c3 is a running total with c3 equal to say $50.00 if c3 is drug down to equal a new value I want A1 to reflect that new total.

Any Ideals?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Could you not just reference the entire column

=SUM(C1:C65536)

Then as you add in values it will just total it up as you go.

You can adjust the range to suit your more specific needs.

Won't work

Summing the column won't work because it gives me the total of the whole column not the running total amount. I just want the last value in the column.
