Reference a picture within an Excel file

I have some code to create a shape, and fill with a picture. At the moment, this looks up a picture saved in the same folder as the Excel file.

I'm new to this and don't know the right terminology but...

I'd like the pictures to be part of the same xlsm (or similar) file. I've found that I can Zip the file, and look at any items within the xlsm file. Is it possible to save the images in here, and if so, how should I reference them.
