Hi

I have some Excel Projects including the handy 'Microsoft Date & Time Picker' control. Since IT installed Windows 8, it doesn't work - I think the problem is the missing library 'Microsoft Common Controls 2-6.0'.

Any ideas how to reinstall this? More importantly, is it possible to embed all these references in a worksheet so it won't matter who opens it on what computer?

All complicated slightly as we don't have admin rights, so I have to explain how to do this to our IT department.

Thanks
Chris

No, sadly, which is why it's best to try and avoid non-standard controls in your workbooks.

I see. I did think that with it being Microsoft and already installed it might be standard. Never mind. Any idea how to find and re-install it?
