Hi there, I am new to the forum.
i am trying to complete a spreadsheet for work area.

we have a date field with a process field then a pre process field ( this process usually takes place one or two days before the process.)

date field is ok
Process field is picked from a lookup list.

dependant on the process picked, I can use a vlookup to pull the pre-processes.

i want this formula to be in a hidden column and to populate the relevant pre-process field two days previous on the spreadsheet. I am unsure how to transfer the value into a cell reference of say G10-2 ie G8

i might have a process that requires a pre-process of three days previous so can't use a direct reference.

hope this is all clear.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
can you pls provide some sample data with expected result ?

Date. Process. Pre-process.

20/04/2013. Clean. Harvest pre-process to populate here.
21/04/2013. Wall clean. Blank
22/04/2013. Harvest. Blank

Hope that is understandable.
