Hi all,

I have several Excel models in different folders using stock tickers as folder/file names. For example, I have these three folders: MSFT, DELL, GE. Within each, respectively, I have MSFT Model.xls, DELL Model.xls, and GE Model.xls.

I am trying to make a summary workbook with various statistics pulled from each model. For example, in this summary workbook I have stock symbols in column A, 2006 sales in column B, 2006 net income in column C, etc. In each model, the variable of interest is a named cell. So in B1, I have: ='M:\Models\MSFT\MSFT model.xls'!Ann_Sales

What I'd like to do is have the formula reference the stock ticker in column A so I can simply drag it down for any stock symbol I happen to put in column A (and of course, have a folder and model set up). I've tried the following: ="'M:\Models\"&A1&"\"&A1&" model.xls'!Ann_Sales" as well as several other variations with the quotation marks in different places. However, none of my attempts have worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
