Hey

I want to make a spreadsheet-system where i gather a lot of data in some workbooks, and have one workbook(to rule them all) to administrate them. I want to be able to write in the main workbook, and when i hit a macro-button, i want to write this new data into the workbooks with all the datahistory.

My problem here is the part where i want to write to another workbook. I dont know how to reference to a range in a sheet in another workbook. I dont want the workbook to open visibly. That will just confuse the user. I guess it has to be opened to write to it. But i guess i can open it without being visible.

I have tried to reference to the other workbook, but i dont think i'm doing it right.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
