referencing to another cell

I need VBA code to reference to a closed workbook and return a value in another closed workbook.

Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Why not just have VBA open the workbook, get what you need, then close the workbook?
