Hello all and happy Friday!

Ok, I cannot find anything on this. I have a workbook that I'm trying to refernce or link in the cell value (usually just a date or number). So, I've tried linking it, referenecing it with the "=", IF statements, etc.. So, my problem now is I can get the value to pull in, but only when I open the workbook from it's original folder. However, in practice, I have this workbook hyperlinked from another workbook.

So, if I open workbook 1, I click the button (hyperlink), and it opens workbook 2. In WB 2 I enter the date or number in cell E5. I then click on a macro button, that opens up WB 3 and prints that sheet out. In cell F28, that value from WB 2 cell E5 is supposed to populate. It populates but only when I open up WB 2 by itself, not when WB 2 opens from WB 1. (Macro runs fine and opens and prints WB 3 either way I acess WB 2)

Any thoughts? I'm lost. Thank you! Let me know what other information is needed.

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hi
Are your workbooks/sheets named the same?
Also, is the workbook2 open when the data is pulled in your macro?
Do you have any runtime errors?

No, the workbooks are not named the same, and they are all open when the cell on WB 2 is edited and then WB 3 is opened. It prints, saves, and then closes. But the cell in WB 3 does not update what is in WB 2 cell.
