Hi,
I have a large number of transactions and the column for the date has the format incorrect and I am unable to change it to the proper format even using the custom formatting.
Below is a paste for an example. The sheet feels the first two digits are the year, in actuality it is the day.
I need this formatted properly as I need to sort the 700 odd lines by date.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Select the column then goto to Text To Columns on the data tab, Delimied > Next > Uncheck all boxes > Next > Select DMY from the date drop down > Finish.
