I'm using Access 2003. I've added another field to a table that I would like to add to a form. Where is the field list refresh button? When I'm in design view of the form I have the field list open but can't find the little icon anywhere.

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

Save your table and open the form in design view then click on the "Field List" command under the "View" menu on the main application tool bar. You will see a little box contains the fields including the new one (of course your form should be using the table or query as recordsource - I assume it already does from your description.).

I know how to find the field list, but the new items I added to the table are not appearing in the list. I've searched help on how to refresh the list but there is no icon like the refresh icon they mention.

Following told me that you can't find the field list button. That's the reason of my answer.
When I'm in design view of the form I have the field list open but can't find the little icon anywhere.

If you added the field and saved your table that is linked to that form, then field list in that "little box" refreshes automatically and immediately (even your form is opened in design view).

I would make sure if form is using a query instead table itself OR try to make that "little box" enlarged.

Ok. Got it, thanks. Stupid me forgot that it was through a query and I needed to add it to that. Apologies for the confusion. I thought I was missing something different seeing as how I couldn't find this icon the Help section referred to.

Again, thanks for the speedy reply.
