Hello,
Does anyone know a way (without using a macro) to refresh a spreadsheet (if I have it open in read only) without closing and reopening it?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Sorry. I mean if someone else has it open and makes changes and I have it open "read only" how can I see their changes without closing and reopening?

There's not a way I know of as opening file with a certain attribute cannot be changed when opened.

If it's a shared book, the person who's made changes must save the file then close
then you can open and see the changes made.

Any other takers?
