I want to do a multiple regression. I can't figure out how to see the values of the coefficients b1, b2, b3 etc.... and a for the equation y=a +b1X1 + b2X2 + b3X3. Is this even possible with excel?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
yep, it's possible. But I'm not sure where you're getting stuck exactly.

Regression can be found under ToolsData Analysis. If you don't see it, you'll need to go to ToolsAdd-ins first and select Analysis ToolPak

Before you select regression, you'll want your input data to be continuous. (For 3 input variables you want them to be next to each other - in columns A,B,C for example).

When you run the regression, you should get the results you're looking for (coeficients, Adj R-squared, p-values).
