For some reason I don't get the small Stop Recording menu with the option to turn the Relative or Absolute Macro function on. Therefore all my Macros run in Absolute. Did I change a setting somewhere that I am not aware of.

The Visual Basic Tool bar only gives me the Run, Start buttons/Icons, And of course after I start one the Start button changes to Stop, without any way to change the macro from relative to absolute.

Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Hi,

See if this works

when you click record macro and the little stop button appears on the small menu, click in the top right and choose add or remove buttons, you can add the relative button back on.....

Hope this helps

The option to activate or add the relative option was not listed.

How does one cut and past screen shots on this bulletin board. It would probably help if I could visually show what I am seeing.

What do you mean your macros run in 'Absolute'?

Running a macro/code and recording one are different things.

If the problem is that you aren't seeing the menu then right click a toolbar and select customize.

Then select Stop Recording.
