Hey all,

At the moment I'm trying to store the value of an active cell, to reactivate/select it later. I'm doing this immediately after pasting a larger continuous range and want to remember the top left cell.

Beginner I am. Here's what isn't working:

'Immediately after pasting a range varying length/rows and six colums (F)

Dim r As Integer
Dim c As Integer

r = Selection.row
c = Selection.column

'Then perform a loop that activates different cells. Then,

Range(Cells(r, c)).select 'this is the error line. activate doesn't work either.

Many thanks as always.

Kevin

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Assuming the correct sheet is active, you should just need:
Code:
Cells(r, c).select
