In the Edit Link message box (Edit / Edit Links), there are a number of columns of information about files that have been linked too. In most cases the file would be a "Worksheet" but I have some appearing as "Remote File". What does this mean and is there a way to control the type of file it is?

I believe this is causing a problem with the linking of a file and I'd like to find away to solve the problem ASAP. I have a file appearing as "Remote File" and not "Worksheet". It is screwing with my monthly reporting and their a function review on Monday. The file appears to be come corrupted and the error message provides wacky numberlinked.xls files that I've never seen before.

I've search online and the MS Excel Knowledge base and having found any references to this issue.

If anyone would like a screen shot, then fire me a message.

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
