I am making a drop down box where the source data has blank rows, and I don't want to delete the blank rows. Is there any way to remove the blanks as an option in the drop down?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
the simple answer no but why don't you change the drop-down list to the correct area without the blanks. Also it sounds like maybe you have the list in an area where inserted rows are maybe being added that are affecting the list. It is usually best to put the list on a separate sheet and range name it, then you can use it on another sheet by the range name. If that is too much information - sorry, or if you have questions post back. :)

I am having the same problem. I need to remove blank cells from a drop down list. The cells become blank when the formula =IF($G$2=A3,A3,"") tells it show no data.

Is there away of drop down list not desplaying blank cells with out haveing to change the range selected.
<table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 77pt;" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="103"><tr style="height: 15pt;" height="20"><td style="height: 15pt; width: 77pt;" width="103" height="20">
</td> </tr></table>
