Remove columns from being filtered

Hi all

I hope you can help me with this question, I searched the forum, but couldn't find an answer to it.

I want to place a filter in columns A:H and want to have I1:K5 displayed, no matter what I filter in A:H.

Is that possible?

You'd have to move the header row of your filtered data down to at least row 5 to achieve that ie so rows 1 - 5 are never hidden through filtering

Thanks for that! Will definitely keep that in mind as a back-up plan!

I was hoping that there would be a way to tell Excel: Filter A:H, do not touch the rest. E.g by splitting the worksheet in two arrays or something like that.
