Hi all,

I have two sheets.
Sheet 1 has 73.619 rows and sheet 2 has 41.470 rows.
The values of column A in sheet 2 appear randomly in column A of sheet 1.

I want to do 2 things:

1.
I want to delete all rows in sheet 1 that have a value in column A that can not be found in column A of sheet 2.

2.
I want to know if a value from column A in sheet 2 is similar to a value from column A in sheet 1, the corresponding values of column B are similar as well.

I have already been trying to do this for hours and just don't know what to do anymore.

So every help is greatly appreciated! :)

MaxWol,

Welcome to the MrExcel forum.

What version of Excel are you using?

You will generally get much more help (and faster) in this forum if you can post your small samples (sensitive data scrubbed/removed/changed) (what you have and what you expect to achieve) directly in the forum.

To attach screenshots, see below in my Signature block: Post a screen shot with one of these:

If you are not able to give us screenshots, see below in my Signature block: You can upload your workbook to Box Net, mark the workbook for sharing, and provide us with a link to your workbook.
