Remove Fields from Slicer

I have a Pivot Table which is driven from an OLAP database. It combines multiple sales databases across mutliple sites.

We use a lot of slicers in the various views to make it quite clear what each pivot is showing, however a lot of the slicers contain a lot of old and irrelevant options that feeds from old data that can't be tidied. Is there anyway to choose what information as a slicer displays?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Not that I'm aware of, no. They always display all items that are present in the field.
