Hi,

I have a list of values in the following format: ######-##-# (for example: 000115-32-2 or 000050-50-0). Some of the cells in that column have text as well as numeric values. How can I remove the leading zeros, considering there is a different amount of leading zeros for my values?

Thank you in advance

Try this...

Book1
AB
2000115-32-2115-32-2
3000050-50-050-50-0
Sheet1

This formula entered in B2 and copied down:

=MID(A2,FIND(LEFT(SUBSTITUTE(A2,0,"")),A2),255)
