I have text like follows:
FTH-15-01-M34185265
SLPB-2M-B34185265
WIT-30RRA-12-M34184748
KLB-750A-RT34185265

I need to remove all of the characters before the 34. Any help would be appreciated.

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Assuming your data starts in A1, try this in B1 and copy down:

=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND("34",A1)+1)

Try:
Code:
=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND("34",A1)+1)

NB if you use -1 after FIND, it will return only the characters after 34.

If you use +1 it will return 34 and all characters after it.
